Our Story
Hi! We’re Kirsty and Stephen, the proud owners of The Bear Den.
Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. Growing up surrounded by them, we both knew early on that our dream was to work with dogs every single day — and in July, we made that dream a reality by opening The Bear Den.
Our inspiration? That would be Bear, our lively and lovable pup who’s the heart and soul of our business. He’s an American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, and Rottweiler mix with a personality as big as his paws! At just 9 months old, Bear is full of energy, always ready to play, and makes fast friends with every dog he meets. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body, and he reminds us daily why we love what we do.
The Bear Den is more than just a name — it’s a place where dogs feel safe, loved, and at home. Whether your pup is here for playtime, care, or just a cuddle, they’re part of the family.
